That's what I'm up to these days. I blame the dentist and Tom, and - well - myself. I had to buy 4 books at B&N last week because I always go to B&N after the dentist. Then on Monday Tom wanted to cruise around town and we wound up at a Borders which had all kind of good stuff on their Bargains table. Six more books. Then yesterday I received 4 books I ordered from Amazon the day before we went to Borders.
So I'm reading Jeffery Deaver's latest right now, with F. Paul Wilson waiting on the tarmac. I love Repairman Jack!
Also, I was kind of conned into watching a friend's KG kid because her regular daycare person had surgery and friend couldn't find anyone else. April will help with the babysitting too. I pick the kid up from school at 11:45 and we have her until about 6 p.m.
At least we are out of the deep freeze, with daytime temps in the 20s and 30s!

I need some good books. I'm all done with all of mine.
I have a couple books I need to read. Hopefully, I'll get started soon. It will cut down on my TV time!
I went to the dentist yesterday. I told the hygienist about your thorough cleaning and inspection. She does the same thing, but doesn't tell people what she's doing (such as checking out the tongue, etc). She has found 3 cases of cancer in the mouth or tongue and one case of skin cancer on the face.
I think I could spot a skin cancer, especially on my face. But an oral cancer? I'm not sure what that looks like in its "baby cancer" phase.
I wonder why she doesn't tell people what she is looking for?
This summer? I SWEAR I'm coming to Stillwater on one of our Spooner visits. I've only been quickly through the town and LOVE IT! Operation Peep Meet Swami will happen in 07!
I'm reading "My Friend Leonard" by James Frey right now. I liked AMLP (I read it after the controvesey, agree that he shouldn't have sold it as a complete biography if it was embellished, yet throughly enjoyed it). In MFL, he buys a cake that says Great Job, Jimbo. That made me laugh, thinking of our JIMBO.
I don't know how to read.
Kim, really?
We pee in caves around here you know.
Bravie - I have pop-up books. Oh, wait. You don't do pop-ups anymore either, do you?
No, I have a pop up blocker. Can we just do simple picture books.
I have some Scholastic books. The Little Penguin. First Snow. Snow Friends. Can you sense a theme yet?
I'm not sure what I'm going to do with a 6 y.o. all afternoon - it's been a long time.
I was going to go to B&N last night to kill some time, but I went to Chipotle instead because I got hungry.
I think Cornwell has a new book out.
Twas 60 here yesterday. I think it may be the same today.
Boo, you mean Book of the Dead? That's not due in stores until October. At least it's a Kay Scarpetta novel, unlike her last one. The plot summary on Amazon sounds neat.
I hope it is a good read. Cornwall can go either way on that.
