They will play happily for the longest time. Bonus? Two trolls hiding in the bottom of the box.
Also, Graycie is learning to play "fetch" cat-style. Kid throws the little squishy ball, cat runs and gets the little squishy ball, then cat tries to hide with it. So far nothing has broken. I forgot how useful it is to think of games where the kid has to run up and down the stairs 25 times in a row.
Eventually, we will play cards.

A "banker's box"?
May I suggest "dress up?"
Know what's funny about kids? They discover those two trolls and think they've discovered a huge mistake...that the trolls obviously don't belong there...and they must alert everyone. And then they relish in the hidden treasure.
I loved playing cards as a kid. Have fun!
And MTW, a "banker's box" is a cardboard storage box. They are usually sold in office supply stores in a few different sizes specific for long term business document storage.
Kim is smaht, MTW. We use Banker's Boxes for document storage, as well as general storage since it is so convenient to have everything in uniform sized boxes. In fact, we have shelves built in the basement that are exactly the right size for our preferred storage boxes.
You buy the boxes in packages of 5 or 10, folded flat, at your office supply store. Then as you need them you simply pull one out and follow the simple folding instructions printed on every box to create a very strong & sturdy storage box with a detached, fitting lid.
I like to look at my rows of uniform, labelled boxes! /OCD
Trolls? You are promoting trolling?
I have tons of ponies, dinosaurs and cars if you need anything else!
