I believe I am a Grand Champion in the throw-away pizza field. This is how it works:
1. Son loves frozen pizza. We make several for him each weekend when he's here.
2. Son can only eat half a pizza by himself, so half goes into frige.
3. Mom does not much like pizza, fresh or frozen so she will not eat leftovers.
4. Sister will not eat brother's leftovers.
5. Dad doesn't mind leftovers but never thinks of them, and of course mom never reminds him of the leftovers because left-over pizza does not exist in mom's picky little mind.
End result? I probably throw away one pizza per week (in total). Right now I have a bag of three big slices of a deep-dish style pepperoni pizza that have been in frige since Sunday. Later today I will toss them out. My concern? What a waste of nice Zip-loc baggies!

LOL My grandma used to wash those ziploc bags and reuse them. At least once or twice.
My MIL still washes ALL her generic plastic bags.
I'm not a leftover pizza eater. If it was REALLY good pizza, I might. Otherwise, Nolay eats it, or it gets tossed.
Ummm, can I live with you? I love pizza, even frozen pizza. I had forzen prizza for dinner last night. Your son can have all the pizza he wants and then I will the leftovers! When can I move in?
Lol HD. You'd have to share a room with the son too since we don't have a spare bedroom and I hate people camping out in regular rooms. But there would be lots of pizza available. DiGiorno (did I spell that right?) Red Barron & Jack's frozen. Savoy's, Carbone's, Pizza Hut, B%B's and Green Mill take-out. It's pizza heaven around here and I'm an agnostic.
Since there is no room at your house for me to move in, you can just ship the leftover pizza to me. Pizza is my most favorite food on earth. And if there is a heaven? I really hope it's Pizza Heaven. *grin*
I wouldn't waste a ziploc bag on trash. Can you use the plastic produce bags or plastic market bags and tie it up with a twisty? Can you put the pizza down the garbage disposal? How about selling it like you had a lemonade stand? :)
The very few times I have just thrown the offending leftover pizza out, Tom has asked about it 5 minutes later. So I save it.
Ziplocks are what I have handy, Puffy, so they're what I use. Also, I know that anything in a non-transparent bag has zero chance of being noticed by DH and that things just wrapped in saran wrap (cheapest alternative) will be misunderstood as being 'in a bag' by this same DH who will invariably pick them up by one corner and look shocked when everything falls to the floor.
I can't win this one. Unless maybe I ship to Jen.
Toss the pizza and save the Zip-loc for the next pizza!
My mom still washes out zip-loc bags. Now I don't feel like such a weirdo. Well, *I* never felt like a weirdo, cuz *I* didn't do it, but I thought my mom was.
My mom washed out all plastic bags, too.
All moms do this. For produce & cookies & stuff I guess this is bearable. Moms are thrift folks. But my MIL washes & reuses bags that have had meat or even raw meat in them! That is totally acceptable.
I re-use ziploc bags for bagels.
Ack, I'd hate having to throw out pizza. Well, not frozen pizza, but a Papa John's pizza.

I know you are a Trader Joe woman so mighht I suggest Trader Joe's 5 Cheese frozen pizza? I think Swami Son would love it. It is a thin crust pizza.
