It's going to be a white supper tonight - chicken breasts in creamy white Alfredo sauce, white rice, steamed cauliflower, peeled & sliced cucumbers in vinaigrette. Vanilla ice cream for dessert. Aren't I colorful?
Hey, cauliflower is every bit as vitamin-loaded as broccoli, Monsty. It's just white. Cukes are a healthier salad choice than plain old iceberg lettuce. Chicken and rice are classic main dish choices. And Alfredo Sauce is, uh, really yummy!
I like to cut up the cauliflower, drizzle olive oil on it and add some garlic salt and then bake it in the oven. Mmmmm. We had that last week. I love white rice but lately we have been eating wild rice. I like all rice. Now I have the munchies.
My family needed color. Without consultation, Tom sliced a tomato and added it to the cucumbers. DD put some raw baby carrots on her own plate. So my brilliant monochromatic color scheme was sabotaged. *sigh* Why am I always the only weirdo?

Geez, at least put a fun topping on the ice cream.
If I bring the topping, can I come over?
You should dress all in white also :-)
Sounds yummy though. I love chicken & alfredo sauce.
Is this in honor of the final snowfall of the season or something?
Ooooh! Maybe you could do a different color menu each day this week!
Your dinner sounds yummy! I'm hungry! Why is there so much food in the blogs this week?
Kim, only if it's a white topping. I have my standards.
Nutz, I also do a Better Red Than Dead feast for May Day. This is the only day of the year in which I might be caught serving pickled beets.
And Nookie? We should eat nude. All that winter white skin!
Marshmallow?
Yummy! Now I'm hungry. ooh! Cottage cheese is white! That's what I'll have, in your honor.
Yeah, there *is* a lot of foodie posts these days.
I'd never get DH to eat cauliflower. *sigh* Picky bastige. Good thing he's cute.
This is like negative vitamins. I do not approve.

You know you can't do white until after Memorial Day.
