My cute butt plumber is back, but today he has a charcoal grey t-shirt firmly tucked down his pants.
My grandson, age 5 & 1/2, has his first loose tooth! (Isn't that kind of young? I thought 6 - 7 was loose tooth age.) Anyway, he came running to his mother today sobbing his little heart out with tears pouring down his face and told her, "Mommy, mommy! My teeth are going to fall out... I DON'T WANT TO BE A MAN YET!!! WAAAHHHHH!!!!!!" Poor little guy. There's just so much pressure involved when you start to lose your baby teeth.

One grandson, from the daughter I had in my first marriage to the absent-minded professor.
I was way too young to get married, which explains why I am so very (ahem) youthful while still being an old woman who remembers the 60s.
Threaten to yank out the teeth by tying astring to the tooth and a doorknob.

Some of DD's friends were losing their teeth when they were 5. Of course now they're a chole class of gap-toothed kids.
Poor little guy. Maybe the Tooth Fairy will make things all better.

I think a lot of kids start to lose their teeth in around kindergarten, which would put them at an age between 5 & 6, so it sounds about right.

That does seem young. Of course, Rotten1 was 7 when he lost his first 2 teeth and now he's 8 with his 3rd & 4th loose teeth. My neice was 6 when she lost her first couple.

Just for fun you should tell him that when a hair grows on another part of his body, it means that it is coming from his head. So the hairier other parts get the more bald he will grow on his head.

I remember kids losing their teeth in Kindergarten. My DD lost two teeth this weekend. You know they're growing up when they just toss 'em in the trash. LOL!
