Oh no! This means I have only about 2 weeks to put in new batteries. I used to change batteries right away when I got that message but then one day I decided to see how long it took for the mouse to actually die. It was 2 weeks! Now I just wait until it dies.
I like things where procrastination pays off. It makes me feel all warm inside.

I try to make sure there are always batteries in the desk drawer. I do not get a warning on the one at work, and there have been times when it has died boom. Usually I am somewhere I probably shouldn't be. So I have to venture out right away to get batteries.
There's cordless mice...mouses or whatever? Cool.
So "critical" = "2 more weeks"? That's funny.

Lights - I have never run out of gas. Gas is a critical part of keeping your engine cool so I never let it go below 1/4 full. Well - okay! - almost never. Hey! I paid $1.62 / gal today when I filled 'er up. It's like the 90s are back again. I liked the 90s.
So is the mouse making fun of your outfits, telling you it's time for a haircut, or just generally tells you your work is sloppy?
If my mouse got that uppity I would never give it new batteries again!
How are you with cell phone batteries?
Be warned Seana. Once you go cordless, you never go back. And it can absolutely suck to have to use one with a cord.
I also have a cordeless keyboard at work. That's not as critical as the mouse, but it's nice not to have all those wires.
