Is what All Saints Day is for. Our kids smash ours onto a rock pile in the far sideyard. Wild critters must eat pumpkin over the winter because by spring, there is nothing left. Not a single bit of pumpkin flesh or skin.
We had 13 trick-or-treaters. What a perfect number for Halloween!

We had no treat or treaters this year. Last year I think we had 5. Our neighborhood is rather 'aged' so I'm not surprised at the lack of tricksters.
I've never heard of Smashing Pumpkins, except the rock group.
We didn't have any trick or treaters either, and I think zero is the perfect number for halloween! *grincy smile*
We had our all time low amount of trick or treaters: 26. Very few teens, thus no smashed pumpkins in the street like we used to get.
