I learned something new about storing Christmas lights. I was at someone's house who wrapped different sets of lights around rolled-up newspaper to prevent tangling.
Puffy, I have little plastic donuts that each hold one string of lights. They work just great!
I always put a fresh bag into my vacuum when I vacuum up all the needles that are cast off while carrying the tree out the door. I love the scent of Balsam when I vacuum!
My ornaments came down on the 1st. The tree came down last week. I still haven't gotten it completely back into the box, and I think I'm just going to go get 2 more boxes and put one piece in each box.
I have a feeling it will take about a month to undecorate. At least. I took the bows off my kitchen cabinets and the garland off my tiger yesterday. A little at a time. That's how I'm gonna do it. hee.

We still have one tree up. DD wants the living room tree in place for her birthday party on the 19th. It's getting a little dry, so I don't know...
