No turkey for me this year. I am going to make a crown roast of beef. With Yorkshire pudding. Yum!
Did everyone see the beautiful full moon last night? Our skies were crystal clear so the moonlight was just luminous.
Oh look - it's foggy outside.
Tippy Toes just tried to jump up on the computer desk and wiped out a little pile of stuff which went crashing to the floor with him. That will teach him to come after my morning bagel!
Tom wants to bring home Chinese take-out from some new place in St Paul called The Teahouse for dinner. I am always in favor of dinners I don't have to cook.

I live in SF so it's always foggy and I almost enver get to see stars or full moons. *pout*
Mmmm, Chinese food. Maybe I'll have that for dinner, too.
The moon was absolutely gorgeous. It was still very bright and full while I was driving to work at 7am.
Chinese food...hm...haven't had that in a while, but not really in the mood either.
Can Tom also bring some for me? I love Chinese. Anything spicy will do.
Good call on the turkey. I really don't like turkey that much. I'm not sure what we'll be having, but we are going to BIL's, so I don't have to cook anything major. SIL wants to do a seven course dinner..served like an official seven course dinner. Seriously. In the single-wide...where they have a small little kitchen. I just cannot imagine how hard that will be.
Whatever, it's not my job to make it. I'm sure the food will be delicious, as BIL is a great cook.
And since we are talking food, I want momma to show me a good Texas BBQ joint for dinner when I come next month. And Bravie said she has a good ethnic place near her house....I'm demanding. :-)
*remembers Tom and turkey from his post*
Kim - if we can manage to get together before every flippin' thing closes, I will take you to Dickie's.
*giggle* You said Dickies. :-)
Just call the owner and tell him/her they NEED to be open for us. I mean, it's US. We are important peeps.
You know, maybe the moon was behind some clouds here because I didn't notice it, but I *did* notice how bright it was out last night.
Roast beef sounds delicious, but I am so ready for turkey! Maybe I can have two holiday dinners. One at your house and one at mine. :D
It has been rainy here for 3 days. I saw no moon. :(
*sends all the rain to Puffy's house*
Last night the moon was out early. It wasn't even dark before it was pretty high in the sky. I couldn't believe how light it was outside when I went out around 11pm to take the garbage cans out.
Tonight, I would love Chinese, but I really want to make dinner since it's the last night DD will be here before she goes back to school. Maybe we'll MAKE Chinese food.
Did you ever make your Chili Verde?
*invites self to join Momma & Kim for Dickies*
This is finger food?
*giggles again*
*giggle*
Swami, this particular Dickies is barbeque.
I never have turkey so I'd love to have some.
I did see the bright full moon last night while walking the dog. I love it when the moon is so bright. Lots of stars visible also. So pretty.
I just told DH the other night that I need to have Chinese food soon. I can't remember the last time I had it. Oh yeah, I think I had it exactly one year ago. *waves to Bravie*
I noticed the beautiful full moon, too. But it was orange from the fire. Sort of Halloweenish.
My cat Cleo noticed something outside the window, In her haste to "catch it from the inside," she knocked down several things on my shelf here next to the desk.
*puts in order for Kung Pao Chicken*
Thanks for the rain, Nutz. *wipes rainwater off of eyeglasses*
Last night we made Cheesy Tortilla Casserole. It used to be Chicken Tortilla Casserole, but we were making it especially for DD who is a vegetarian.
Yes, Swami, I did end up making my Chile Verde. It was excellent! I had a little Tuesday night and then took the rest to work the next day and shared it with my coworkers. Excellent!
Tonight, I'm deciding whether to make chili (the red kind) using Nolay's recipe posted on OT, or teriyaki chicken. I made some excellent teriyaki sauce last week so I could use that.
