I am in love with Castellana Rustic Italian Pasta - particularly their Foglie d'Autunno. Tossed with heaps of fresh basil, tomatoes, garlic & olive oil it is my favorite summer salad, hands down. So I was so bummed when my local upscale grocer stopped carrying it. I searched any number of stores around here - no Castellana.
So a couple of weeks ago I Googled for it - and Amazon was the third hit. I ordered a case of pasta from Amazon! I love Amazon, but I've never bought a food product from them before.
Last night I decided that if I didn't need fresh produce and dairy I could go totally Howard Hughes, order everything I need or want from Amazon, and never leave my house again!
If I was so inclined.
But I wouldn't save my urine in empty drink containers.
That's just crazy!

I love Amazon.
Unfortunately they don't sell the Yves veggie crumbles that I use for sheppard's pie. Our grocery stores have suddenly stopped stocking them. I've talked to the managers and they said they weren't selling enough I guess. *pout*
LOL at the Howard Hughes reference. I can see me doing that. Not peeing in the cup thing but sitting at home ordering everything I need from online. That's how I order my pizzas.
I hate it when stores stop selling my fave products. Always seems to happen to me, too. Remember pour over cheddar micowave popcorn? *sigh*

Oh wow - I used to drive that bridge twice a day when I worked at the U of MN. I think I was over it last about 2 weeks ago.
I'm assuming everyone is okay. DH crosses the Mississippi on a different bridge about 6 miles from that one. Right now he is at a local cable commission meeting. DD is out somewhere with her BF but they tend to hang by the St Croix River.
I'll assume everyone is okay.
