Does this make butchering the remaining millions guilt free?
Wouldn't it make more sense to have the Prez ritually slaughter the chosen turkey?
How come we never see photos of all the turkeys that have been pardoned in previous years, living their happy, productive little turkey lives?

I saw on TV that a piece of pecan pie is about 880 calories with 44 grams of fat.
A low-cal Thanksgiving meal could be about 1600 calories; but a "regular" Thanksgiving meal would be about 2500 calories.

The pardon is amazingly stupid. Like we don't get enough uselessness out of the Oval Office.

I think the pardoned turkeys take it for granted and they're actually living slovenly lives, so it's better for us not to see that.
