It is a little cool here today, but nothing like the freezing cold of early in the week.

I have the dregs of a homemade minestrone if you want to share, Swami.

I had to take DD a hat when I picked DS up from school this morning I had to put on my stupid headband thingie to cover my ears because the wind was making them hurt.

It's too early in the year for this.

When DD was in JK, they had picture day in mid-October. I remember how hot it was. I wore a sleeveless black dress and a witch's hat for Halloween.

Geez, it should be "crisp" this time of year, not "freezing".

*shiver*

I had to wear a sweater this morning. We're supposed to have frost overnight. It was also the first morning where I seriously thought of turning the heat on.

*hugs everyone to keep them warm*

It is hella windy here today (and yesterday, too) which is really making it bitterly cold at times. I'm wearing 2 long sleeved shirts and I wore a jacket that I bought last night. I can't wait to go home and snuggle under my fleece blanket!

The wind blew me down today and caused me to wonder (as I do several times a year) how skinny people stay upright in such wind as that.

Yes! Soup! I love soup for lunch on a cold day! And my crackers got stale so new ones will do nicely.

I? am wearing along sleeved shirt. That's how cold it is. At least it is not Buffalo. I wonder if TK is snowed in.

*sigh*

I will be sitting outside in a few hours trying to keep my butt from freezing to the metal bleachers. It's going down to 37 F tonight! Brrr...

Thank goodness we didn't get the 2 feet of snow that Buffalo did!

Isn't football supposed to be better when it's brisk outside? In MN they always wind up having the HS championship games played on frozen, crusty, dead-grass turf.

Maybe you should use some flannel sheets.

Oh, and we're all not talking to carey, right. Stupid Miss seventyfourdegrees Pants.

I'm wearing sandals. Maybe I'll look for closed-toe shoes over the weekend.

Football is better when it' chilly, but not when it's butt freezin' cold!
