I *Heart* Barnes & Noble
They email me nice coupons. Today I bought The Husband by my freaky friend Dean R Koontz. B&N gave a coupon worth 15% off after my usual members 10% off, so a $27 dollar book became a $15 book. Then, just to make me happy they also sent a coupon for a free Starbucks frappucino! So as I drove home in the 87' heat I had a nice frosty, frothy, caramel drink to suck on. Aren't Barnes & Noble good folks?

I'm not a coffee drinker but I like the Frappucinos. Some of our markets have a Starbucks inside the store. When you buy your 7th drink, you get the next one for free. I always make my free one the LARGEST size.
Yes they are. I could spend all day at B&N.
I *heart* B&N too! Like Carey, I could spend all day there.
My mom went there one day last week and told me how it was noisy. I said, "Well, it's a store, not a library." Hee! Guess she was expecting a quiet place to read.

We have a Borders Bookstore near us, and I love it. Not a cold coffee drinker though.
I loved Wayne & Shuster! I can still remember their theme song. (Of course, it helps that they are on the canadian comedy channel.)
They're still on TV somewhere? Wow! They did the best comedy skits ever. They shoulda been world famous!
I'm a Dean Koontz fan also, though I don't usually keep up with all the books that come out. I go through periods where I can't get enough to read, and then I read nothing at all.

I love them too. I bought a book recently because of my discounts. It was "Taking Care of the Me in Mommie" by Lisa Welchel. Yep, that one, Blair from Facts of Life.
I haven't read it yet. It's a bit spiritual. Perhaps that's what I need, but I haven't decided if I want it or not.
